Offline Marketing Manager (Sydney based)

 X factors:

 Responsibilities:

  • Using traditional media channels including TV, radio, events, print and PR to get OzForex’s message out to the general population
  • Responsible for identifying and implementing marketing campaigns
  • Creating and managing a campaigns calendar over the year with marketing and sales campaigns
  • Manage our behind the scenes PR efforts, helping to promote the OzForex spokesperson in the media’s eye and increase the number of mentions in the media for our spokespeople
  • Working with sales at events, trade shows and seminars to gather leads and prospects

 Duties may include:

  • Promoting OzForex through traditional media, like TV, radio and print
  • Product managing the launch of a new product, like an FX travel card
  • Contacting media and journalists to promote an OzForex story, or to encourage interest in them interviewing our spokesperson on topical events
  • Identifying and implementing a marketing campaign, like a business FX promotion
  • Organising the necessary collateral, content and material for the promotion
  • Working with stakeholders to get the whole business supporting the campaign
  • Generate publicity, leads and interest in our service
  • Trade shows, events and seminars
  • Running an email marketing campaign to get potential customers to an event
  • Attending an event
  • Creating a prospect list for the sales staff to follow up on

 Skills & experience:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in marketing
  • Developed network of contacts in offline media, including television
  • Experience running marketing campaigns, events and/or PR
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills
  • Tertiary qualifications
  • Finance and/or online experience is a plus, but not essential

The role is for a Senior Corporate Dealer to join our team, reporting to the Manager of Corporate Business for OzForex. The successful candidate will possess a friendly and positive manner and will be able to take initiative. 

Your main responsibilities will be to source new corporate business, anticipate and meet the needs of existing corporate customers, execute FX deals over the phone, provide market analysis to clients, clearly explain OzForex services to potential customers, handle customer enquiries efficiently and build on our reputation for great customer service.

 

We will provide you with ongoing training in the following:

 

  • Custom built CRM system and online platform
  • Sales Training
  • Product Training
  • FX Market knowledge
  • Industry certification

 

The ideal candidates will possess:

 

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Great process management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Superior computer skills

You will be working with our Private Client Team to continue to provide excellent service to our private clients. Your key responsibilities would include contacting registered clients, booking and confirming foreign exchange transactions, handling customer enquiries both online and by phone and advising clients on FX market movements.

Business Development Manager - OzForex

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Cold calling to generate appointments 
  • Perform phone based demonstrations of the corporate offering and online platform 
  • Lead generation 
  • Administrative tasks associated with managing your own sales pipeline 
  • Attending external functions and events with referral partners 
  • Regular travel by car as required 
  • Face to face client meetings, presentations and follow up 
  • Collecting necessary documentation from prospective clients and following internal compliance processes 
  • Managing relevant referral partnerships 
  • Attend and actively participate in weekly sales meetings which can be outside of business hours 
  • Reporting - ensure accurate and timely data entry of sales activity into CRM system 
  • Liaise with your manager, team members, dealers and/or relevant stakeholders when there are issues or concerns that need to be resolved

  • Revenue – monthly and full year targets 
  • New dealing clients – monthly and full year targets 
  • Specialist product knowledge – ability to communicate knowledge of all corporate products and concept of basic hedging strategies and market awareness 
  • BDM sales methodology – demonstrate use of the OzForex BDM sales model, focusing on understanding client needs and presenting to them 
  • Reporting – Understand the importance and positively contribute 
  • Risk management and compliance – Understand the importance and comply with company guidelines and polices  Training and support:
